He was born Sept. 28, 1900, a son of the Rev. Louis and Alice (Walters) Glass, and married Martha Jane Sellers in Altoona on Nov. 11, 1924. Surviving are his wife, three children, Homer of Lakemont, Donald of Milesburg and Mrs. Anna Scritchfield of Claysburg; 20 grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and four sisters and a brother, Mrs. Alice Olson of Philadelphia, Mrs. Alma Baldwin, in California, Mrs. Mabel Stevens of Cooperstown, N.Y., Mrs. Eva Jones of Clearwater, Fla., and Dan of Altoona. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and Chief Logan Lodge. Mr. Glass retired as a machinist from the PRR in 1963. Friends will be received in the Hammer Funeral Home, Lakemont, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Altoona Mirror, February 13, 1969
