J. E. GLASS,

Formerly of this city, died at his home at McKee's Gap, Saturday
morning, of consumption.  The deceased was aged 26 years.  He is
survived by his wife and one child; also by his mother, Mrs. Sarah
Glass, of Martinsburg, and the following brothers: W. M. of this city,
Albert of Martinsburg, Frederick of Bellwood, and Emanuel at home.  He
was a member of the Fifth Avenue Methodist church of this city and of
Juniata council, No. 372, Junior Order United American Mechanics.  The
funeral took place this afternoon.
