Glass died at his home, 206 Chestnut avenue, Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock, of uremia. He was born near Henrietta, Aug. 30, 1833, being 85 years and two months of age. He was twice married, his first wife being Susan Wineland who preceded him to the grave fifty-six years ago, one son to this union, Wesley, of Roaring Spring, survives as does his second wife, (nee, Lydia Kensinger) and the following children to the second marriage, Mrs. Mary Figart and Martin K., both of Eldorado, Mrs. Harriet Taylor and Mrs. Devona Cross of Altoona, Mrs. Carena Miller, Edwin K. and Della at home. He resided in Altoona for the past twenty-five years, and was a life long member of Mt. Pleasant Reformed church of Millerstown. The remains may be viewed from 2 to 5 o'clock on Thursday afternoon and from 7 to 9 Thursday evening. Private funeral services will be held at his late home, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
