GLASS Retired employe of the Altoona Works, died at his home, 121 East Walnut avenue, at 9.10 o'clock yesterday morning of a complication of diseases after an illness of three years. He was born in Morrisons cove, Feb. 21, 1862, a son of Daniel and Mary Glass. He retired from the railroad service on Feb. 1, 1929, after having been employed as a car repairman for a period of forty-two years and ten months. He had resided in Altoona since he was 7 years old and had learned the carpentry trade as a young man. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora (Knepper) Glass; five daughters and three sons, Mrs. Edna Beck, Mrs. Erma Covell and Lloyd A. Glass, all of Cleveland, O., Bernard Glass of Pleasant valley, Burton Glass of Concord, Pa., Mrs. Robert Leader, Mrs. George Stouffer and Mrs. Lawrence Edwards of this city; *** grandchildren, four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Charlotte Dutrow of Cleveland, Mrs. G. L. Adams and Mrs. Calvin Stouch of Eldorado, Mrs. William Halley of Juniata and Louis H. Glass of this city. Mr. Glass was a member of the Mennonite Memorial church and of the Modern Woodmen. The body may be viewed at the Roher & Plank funeral home at any time prior to the funeral services, which will be held at the funeral home at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with Rev.
