NETTIE GLASS Of 324 Fifth avenue, died yesterday morning at 11.40 o'clock at the Fitzgerald nursing home after an extended illness. She was the widow of David H. Glass and a daughter of Isaac and Susan (Brumbaugh) Dilling. Mrs. Glass was born July 2, 1864, in Clover Creek and married Mr. Glass Aug. 20, 1896. He died in 1923. Mrs. Glass came to Altoona in 1883 and worked as a clerk in the store of her sister and brother- in-law, D. M. McFarlin. Surviving are a brother, O. B. Dilling of Altoona; several nieces and nephews; one nephew reared in her home, William Ross, who is now serving in the United States army stationed in Germany. She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren for 65 years. Friends are being received at the Books funeral home until 1 o'clock Sunday and thereafter at the First Church of the Brethren.
