GLENN James Clark Glenn, 32, of Escondido, Calif., and until four years ago a resident of Tyrone, died yesterday in a hospital at San Diego, Calif., after an extended illness. He was born in Tyrone, May 21, 1926, son of the late John And Mary Ellen Clark Glenn. On June 5, 1943, he married Agnes Kathryn Sickler of Tyrone. He is survived by the widow and seven children, James, Lee, Robert, David, Jeanne, Kathryn and Kenneth, their ages ranging from 14 years to two months. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Charles of Sewickly; Edward of Mifflintown; John, William, Thomas, Mrs. George Harpster and Mrs. Robert Mattern, of Tyrone. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal church of Tyrone, and of the Elks Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a veteran of World War II, and was very active in sports. While a pupil at Tyrone High school, he was a member of the championship football team, playing end, that met Shenandoah in the last PIAA state title game, in 1940. He had been employed by Sears and Roebuck Co., at Escondido. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced. Burial will be in Escondido.
