At 4.30 o'clock yesterday morning Maude Lenore Glenn, daughter of Mrs. Anna T. Glenn, of 1527 Eighth street, died at her home of intestinal tuberculosis. She was afflicted by an attack of pneumonia on March 27 and never recovered from the effects of that disease. She was born at Snow Shoe, Centre county, November 18, 1876. The greater part of her life was spent in that town. She came to Altoona about eight years ago and entered the public schools, and was in the high school when she relinquished her studies to become an operator in the Bell telephone exchange, which position she held until she became sick last spring. Miss Glenn is very favorably known in this city, where she has, by her intelligence and kindness won a large circle of friends. Besides her mother she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: R. Boyd, Will V., J. Curtin, Carroll J., and John K., all of this city and all residing at home except the first mentioned. The deceased was a member of the First Presbyterian church. The remains can be viewed by friends at the late home of the deceased this afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted at the house this evening by Rev. J. W. Bain. The body will be taken to State College on seashore express to-morrow morning for interment, by the side of the remains of the dead girl's father.
