Glunt Mr. Glunt, 72, of 811 Pleasant Valley Blvd. died at 2 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 1985, in Altoona Hospital, after a heart attack. Mr. Glunt retired as an engineer from Conrail in 1975, after more than 30 years service. He was born Aug. 10, 1913, in Altoona, the son of John Roy and Reta (Fluke) Glunt, and March 22, 1939, in Altoona, married Marian Moore. Surviving are his wife, three children: Walter Jr. of Pittsburgh, Ronald W. of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Michele, at home; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Also surviving are five brothers and sisters: Ada Forsht of Camp Hill, Gladys Miller of Eldorado, Charles of Pennsville, N.J.; Janice A. of Altoona and Robert of Mogadore, Ohio. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, serving with the occupation force of Germany. He was a member of the Blair County National Guard Veterans Association, Iaia Post, American Legion, and Concordia Singing Society. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata. GLUNT - Services for Walter Glunt of 811 Pleasant Valley Blvd. will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. Charles Fox and the Rev. Lewis Crouse. Interment in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
