C. Golden, died at her home on Eighth avenue, near Ninth street, about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She had been confined to her bed but a few days, although several weeks since she seemed to have a presentiment that she was not to be long in this world, and mourned greatly at having to leave her baby, only a few months old. She was aged about thirty-four years, and leaves three children. Her husband, Mr. S. C. Golden, is a well-known notary public of this city. The deceased was a daughter of John Yunt, a Dunkard farmer living near Shippensburg. Mrs. Golden was a consistent member of the First Methodist Church, and died with a firm belief in the saving power of her Redeemer. The funeral will leave on day express to-day to proceed to Shippensburg. Dr. Hamlin has been requested to conduct the funeral ceremonies.
