Tyrone Daily Herald, October 25, 2004 NORMAN C. GOOD Norman C. Good, 74, of R.D. 3 Box 348, Tyrone, Pa. died at 11:42 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2004 at the Altoona Hospital. He was born June 19, 1930 at Good's Lane, Altoona, Pa. He was married to Shirley Shover. He is survived by Shirley Good of Tyrone and five children, Ann Sellers and husband Frank of Tyrone; Shirley Ingold and husband Scott of Miami, Fla.; Christine Miller and husband James of Ocala, Fla.; Norman A. Good of Bald Eagle; S. Marc Good and wife Wanda of Cross Junction, Va.; 14 grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers, Margie Michelle of Pittsburgh; Jane Ames of Bangor, Me.; Fred Good of Va.; Robert A. Good of Sinking Valley and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Bill. He was of Catholic faith and had served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean era. He enjoyed his family, farming, horses and animals. He was a longtime dairy farmer in Sinking Valley and was a self- employed business man in the Tyrone area. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. Fr. Joseph T. Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Snyder Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 - 9 p.m. and one hour before the service on Wednesday. A wake service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, October 26, 2004
