MARTHA GORSUCH Mrs. Martha Gorsuch, an aged and respected resident of Logan township, died at the home of her son, Ira W. Gorsuch, on Pottsgrove avenue, East End, at 9 o'clock Saturday evening of diseases incident to old age. Deceased was born at McConnellstown, Huntingdon county, on August 5, 1837 and was the daughter of John and Catherine Householder, both deceased and early residents of that section. She was united in marriage on March 30, 1856, to George W. Gorsuch, who preceded her to the grave some time ago. She is survived by four sons, Thomas, of Spring City, Pa.,; Ira W., of East End; W. H., of Wertz and I. E., of 115 Walnut avenue, this city. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and also three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Sarah Ann Isett and Mrs. A. Frank, of Marklesburg; Mrs. Henry H. Davis, of Huntingdon, and John Householder, of Marklesburg. She was united with the church at the age of 14 years and at her death was a devout member of Salem Reformed church, East End. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of her son, Ira W. Gorsuch, this evening at 8 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. R. M. Stahl. The remains will be taken on the 8:10 o'clock train Tuesday morning to Martinsburg where services will be conducted in the Reformed church, after which interment will be made in Riverview cemetery, Martinsburg.
