MRS. BETTY GOSS

Of 619 North Fourth street, Bellwood, died at the Altoona hospital 
Saturday evening at 6.20 o'clock after an illness of two months.  Mrs. 
Goss was born in Bellwood, March 27, 1919, the daughter of Howard R. 
and Odessa (Miller) Rothenberger.  In June 1938, she married Daniel H. 
Goss of Bellwood, in the Methodist church.  Surviving are her husband, 
a son, Daniel P., and a daughter, Nancy Lee, at the home; her father 
and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Rothenberger of Bellwood; these 
brothers and sisters, Herbert E. of Chambersburg, William A. of 
Youngtown, O., Ernest L. of Canton, O., Mrs. Helen Mathes of 
Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Esther Gross of Tyrone, Richard K. of 
Harrisburg; and one step-sister, Roslyn of Bellwood.  She was a member 
of the Bellwood Methodist church, and of Mrs. Goss' Pioneer class of 
the church school.  She was the treasurer of the Woman's Society of 
Christian Service of the church.  Friends will be received at the Fuoss 
mortuary, Bellwood.
