CLOVER CREEK ITEMS.

  At about 9 o'clock last Wednesday morning, Mrs. Mary Grabill died at 
the home of her daughter, Mrs. William F. Spidle, near this place, of 
old age, after been sick only about twenty-four hours.  Deceased was 80 
years of age and is survived by two children, viz: Samuel W. Grabill 
and Mrs. Mary Spidle, both of this place.  Mr. Grabill preceded her to 
the grave in 1861.  Mrs. Grabill was a faithful member of the German 
Baptist church.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. H. Beer 
last Friday, December 15, at 10 o'clock.  Interment was made in 
Fredericksburg cemetery.
