MARTHA HAZEL GRANT 

  Martha Hazel Grant, 83, of Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg, 
formerly of Bellwood, died Saturday afternoon, May 5, 2007 at Altoona 
Hospital.
  She was born October 14, 1923 in Cresson, a daughter of Maurice and 
Dora Mae (Igou) Nearhoff.
  She was first married to George E. Thompson, Sr. and later to Donald 
Grant. 
  She was preceded in death by both husbands.
  She attended Altoona First Grace Brethren Church and was a homemaker.
  She is survived by sons: George E. Thompson of Bellwood; Maurice E. 
Thompson of Altoona and Edgar Harold Thompson of Altoona; grandchildren 
and great-grandchildren.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the 
Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor, Bellwood.
  Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the 
funeral parlor with Pastor John Townsend officiating.
  Interment at Logan Valley.
