He was born in this county, Dec. 2, 1880, and for a number of years was a motorman on the Logan Valley, but more recently he was employed as a machinist at the East Altoona roundhouse. He was the son of Thomas and Mary Gray (deceased). He is survived by his father, his wife, Razella Gray, and the following children: Marguriete, Helen, Gwendolyn, Mary, James, Sherwood, Joseph at home, and Howard, of Wildwood Springs. Four brothers, Harry A., of Pittsburg; W. F., of Jackson, Mich.; George and John, of Altoona and two sisters: Mrs. C. V. Lightner, of Pittsburgh and Mrs. John Arthur, of this city, also survive. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist church and of the East Altoona Floral association. Funeral services will be held from his late home at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and burial will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, October 28, 1918
