At the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. E. H. Estep, No. 1325 Eighth avenue, at twenty minutes past 10 o'clock on Thursday evening, Mrs. Catharine Green breathed her last. The deceased was born in Bedford county, on the 10th day of July, 1811, and was therefore aged 75 years, 1 month and 2 days. She had been ill from a complication of diseases for some months, and for about eight weeks previous to her death was confined to bed. For sixty-five years she had lived in Morrison's Cove and in the vicinity of Altoona. Her husband, Abraham Green, died in this city about two years ago. Her surviving children are: Mrs. E. H. Estep, Mrs. William Crone, Mrs. Vinton Zimmerman, William Green, of Altoona; Samuel Green, of Lily's, Cambria county; and Thomas Green, of Indianapolis, Indiana.
