GREEN Jeremiah Wesley Green, a well known retired farmer of this vicinity, died at his home at Wehnwood, at 6:30 o'clock yesterday morning of diseases incident to old age. Deceased was born on August 24, 1889 and had resided some years in this section. He was a member of the Grace Methodist Episcopal church. He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. V. L. McFarlin, Mrs. Thomas Figart, Mrs. James Cunningham and Mrs. E. H. Hicks of this city, Mrs. D. B. Smith of Wehnwood and Miss Catherine, at home, two sons, Andrew and C. B., also of this city and the following brothers and sisters: Samuel Green of Wehnwood, Mrs. D. H. Hemphill and Mrs. Gwinn Miller of Altoona. Services will be held at the home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Alexander Lamberson. Interment in Asbury cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Thursday morning, August 8, 1918, page 7
