MRS. M. A. GREEN.

  A telegram has been received in this city announcing the death at 6 
o'clock yesterday evening of Mrs. Leah Green, wife of M. A. Green, at 
the family residence, 3665 Spring Garden street, Philadelphia.  The 
deceased was aged about 50 years, and was born in Conemaugh, Cambria 
county, her maiden name being Leah Dunmire.  For many years she, with 
her husband, lived in Altoona, removing to Philadelphia in June, 1898.  
When here she was a member of the Eighth Avenue Methodist Episcopal 
church.  Her husband survives her, as do the following children, all 
residing in Philadelphia: Jessie, wife of Peyton Thompson; William, 
Elmer, Hazel Edna and Earl Green.  The body will be taken to Conemaugh 
on Sunday next for interment, but the hour of the funeral was not 
learned.
