Grey of 1810 Sixth avenue received a message from their son, A. J. Grey, yesterday afternoon, informing them of the death of his wife, Luetta Grey, at 4.30 o'clock yesterday morning. He [She?] was nineteen years of age and had always lived in El Paso, Texas. Mr. Grey is a member of the Cactus Division, Company 272d, Eighteenth Sanitary train, stationed at Camp Travis, Texas, and at this time is a patient in the military hospital, having recently undergone an operation for appendicitis. His many friends in Altoona will be sorry to learn of his bereavement and will hope for the speedy recovery of his health and strength. Mr. Grey bears the distinction of being the sixty-second Altoona boy to enlist in the service of the United States. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, November 12, 1918
