MRS. MARIE GRIFFIN.

  Mrs. Marie Griffin, wife of J. W. Griffin, of 809 Ninth avenue, died 
at 4 o'clock yesterday morning of tuberculosis.  She was aged 28 years
and is survived by her husband and four children.  She was colored and
was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Williams, and was born in
Georgia.  She was ill nearly two years.  Funeral services will be held
at 10 a.m. today at Lafferty & Tobias funeral chapel.  Burial in Oak
Ridge cemetery.
