VERNA E. GRIFFITH 

82, of 2909 Broad Ave. died unexpectedly at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec.
17, 1980, in her home. She was born March 7, 1898, in Altoona, the
daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Curvin) Kunsman, and married Robert J.
Griffith, who died in February 1961. Surviving are four children,
George of Oxon Hill, Md.; Robert Jr. of Riverdale, Md.; Mrs. Laura
Chirdon of Altoona and Mrs. Helen Himes of Hollidaysburg; nine
grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Laura McClain
of Baltimore, Md. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Friday in the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home.

GRIFFITH - Services for Verna E. Griffith of 2909 Broad Ave. will be
held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home.
Interment in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Friends will be received
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the E. Merrill Smith. Funeral
Home.
