Yesterday morning at 9 o'clock Mrs. Hedwig Grimme, wife of Ignatius Grimme, died at her home, 704 Second avenue, of consumption. She was born at Kleinmaren, Austria, October 2, 1863, and was therefore aged 30 years, 3 months and 29 days. When 10 years old she came to this country with her parents, who first located at Huntingdon, from where they moved in a short time to Hollidaysburg, coming to this city in 1876. She was married to Ignatius Grimme in 1881, the union resulting in the birth of five children, two of whom preceded her to the grave. The three other children survive her as do also her husband, her parents - Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Weidlich, of 720 Crawford avenue - and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Bishoff, of Johnstown, and one half brother, Frank Weidlich, of 319 First avenue, She was a member of St. Mary's German Catholic church. The [cortege] will leave the house at 8.30 o'clock Saturday morning, proceeding to St. Mary's church where services will be held, after which the interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
