Groninger of 612 Eighth avenue, died yesterday evening at 6:10 o'clock at the Altoona hospital, death being caused by pneumonia. Mr. Groninger had been ill for the past two weeks. He is a well known Pennsy engineer on the Middle division. He was born Jan. 12, 1872 and was a native of Juniata county. He was married fifteen years ago and is survived by his wife and the following children: Cloyd, Herbert, Catharine, Martha and Sarah, all at home. He is also survived by his parents, James and Alice Groninger and by one sister, Miss Maud Groninger of Port Royal; also by three brothers, Alton and Warren of Los Angeles, Cal., and Frank of Lewistown. He was a member of the Third Presbyterian church, the B. of L.F.& E., the P.R.R. relief association and Mifflin lodge F. & A.M.
