Fink Grove, 84, of 2 West 11th St., Tyrone, died at 1:35 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004 at Epworth Manor, Tyrone. She was born Feb. 16, 1920 in Snyder Twp., a daughter of Elwood Harry and Verna (Riggleman) Dixon. She was twice married, first to Benjamin David Fink April 13, 1938, who died May 23, 1976. Then in Dec. of 1995 she married Paul W. Grove. She is survived by her husband Paul and four children: Iris Nye and David E. Fink of Decker Hollow; Richard H. Fink of Tyrone; and Barbara K. Zeigler of RD3 Tyrone; a step-son Paul A. Grove of Scranton; 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Elwood Dixon, a sister Linda Murray and two grandsons. She was a member of the God's Missionary Church in Milesburg. She was formerly active at the Bald Eagle Grange and as a cook at the camp of the Bald Eagle Valley Holiness Assn. She loved fishing. She retired from the Laundry Dept. of the Tyrone Hospital after 23 years service and was previously employed at Big Yank Corp. Funeral services will be held Wed., Dec. 1, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. Stephen Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, RD Port Matilda, Pa. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, November 29, 2004
