Gunn, daughter of Alexander and Blanche May McCormick, of 1206 Nineteenth street, died at 4 o'clock this morning at her home, 2133 Mountain street, Philadelphia, of pneumonia, following the Spanish influenza. She was born in Altoona in 1897 and resided here until about a year ago. She was married to Joseph M. Gunn, a former resident, on July 9, 1917. Surviving are her parents, the husband and the following brothers and sisters: Alexander, jr., of Youngstown, O., William R. in the engineers unit at Washington, D.C., Helen La. [sic], Martha B. and Blanche M. all at home. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian church. The remains will be brought to Altoona for interment. The body of Mrs. Joseph Gunn of this city, who died in Philadelphia Thursday of influenza, arrived in Altoona last night and was taken to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex McCormick, 1206 Nineteenth street.
