CALLED BY DEATH
Mrs. Bessie Gunsallus Answered Summons Wednesday

  After suffering most patiently from a complication of diseases for 
over a year, Mrs. Bessie Gunsallus, wife of George Gunsallus, passed to 
her reward on Wednesday, afternoon at one thirty o'clock.  Deceased was 
a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Snyder and was born in Tyrone, March 
30, 1895.  Her entire life was spent here where she won many friends 
who are sorry that she was called away so early in life.  She was a 
devoted member of the United Brethren Church and lived her life 
according to the teaching of that faith.  On May 16, 1913, she was 
united in marriage to George Gunsallus, who with two children, Robert 
G., and William G., survive to mourn a loving wife and mother's death. 
She is also survived by her parents.  Funeral services will be held on 
Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Reverend E. G. Sawyer.  
Interment at Bald Eagle.
