Gunsallus died on Sunday at her home at Ironsville. After a long and patient illness from tuberculosis, Mrs. Edith M. Gunsallus died at 12:25 p.m. Saturday, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Joshua Hunter, at Ironsville. Deceased was born at Ironsville, March 10, 1880, and had been a resident of this community all her life. In 1897, she was united in marriage to James Gunsallus, of Tyrone, who proceeded her to the grave about eight years ago. Mrs. Gunsallus resided in Tyrone with her family until about 4 months ago, when her ravaging illness came upon her, since which time she been at the home of her mother. She was an earnest, Christian woman and will be greatly missed by her children and many friends. Surviving, besides her mother, to mourn her death, are three children: Virginia, Mayetta, and Sterle, all at home. Also these brothers and sisters: Roller; Mrs. Joseph Hewell, Howard; Mrs. G. V. Shipley, Mrs. George Meyers, Mrs. Robert Mills, Jr., all of Tyrone, and Miss Ellen at home. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church, at Ironsville, Tuesday morning at ten o'clock in charge of Reverend Gordon Gray, pastor of the Ironsville Methodist Episcopal church.
