FUNERAL NOTICE

  The funeral of the late Mrs. Amanda S. Gunter, who died from 
paralysis at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Mogel, will be held 
this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.  She was a daughter of the late George 
and Eva Snyder and was born at East Freedom, May 18, 1848.  About 40 
years ago she was united in marriage with Abraham Gunter, who died a 
number of years ago.  Surviving are these sons and daughters: George 
Gunter and Mrs. Sue Dougherty of Altoona; Frank, of Hollidaysburg; Mrs. 
Ida Thompson, Mrs. Harry Fogle and LeRoy Gunter of this place.  She 
also leaves a number of brothers and sisters who are, Jerry Snyder, of 
Tyrone; Archibald, of Claysburg; Mrs. J. S. Hepner of Altoona, and Mrs. 
Susan Jacobs, of Shirleysburg, Pa.  She was a member of the Brethren 
church.
