He had gathered a pail of berries, and managed to hand them to his father a brakeman on the mountain train of the Clearfield road, as the cars went by. The father took the berries, and the lad attempted to jump up on the next car behind him, but fell upon the track, and the wheels passing over his head, crushed it like an egg-shell.
