All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ JACOB GUYER Jacob Guyer, a former resident of the city and a retired veteran employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad company, died at 3 o'clock Sunday morning at his home in Mechanicsburg, Pa., of pneumonia. He had been ill but a short time. Deceased was born in Schuylkill county, Pa., on June 13, 1832. He was for a period of forty-nine years in the service of the P.R.R. company in the local shops and after his retirement several years ago he removed to Mechanicsburg where he had since retired. He is survived by his wife and two sons, William, of Mechanicsburg, and Frank, of Altoona. The funeral will take place this morning at 10.30 o'clock. Interment to be made at Mechanicsburg.
