Gwin, widow of the late James A. Gwin, of Antis township died at 6:40 o'clock Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Benjamin P. Reigh, 1512 Seventh avenue, of pneumonia after an illness of but a few days. The news of her death will be received with sincere regret by her wide circle of friends and acquaintances. Deceased was the daughter of James and Susanna Richards, deceased, and was born in Clearfield county on November 12, 1848. She was married to James A. Gwin on November 9, 1866, and since then had always resided in this vicinity. She was endeared to a wide circle of friends by her kindliness and her lovable disposition. She was a devoted wife and mother and a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church for half a century, ever delightful in laboring for the Master. She is survived by two sons and five daughters: George R. and A. Crawford Gwin, of Antis township; Ada, wife of L. M. Manley, of Antis township; Velma, wife of W. B. Manley, and Emma, wife of B. P. Reigh, of this city; Mary, wife of M. C. Reigh, of Catherine township, and Ethel, of Altoona. One brother, J. F. Richards, of Curwensville, and a former commissioner of Clearfield county, and a sister, Mrs. M. F. Askey, of Osceola Mills, also survive. Public funeral services will be conducted at the Asbury Methodist Episcopal church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in charge of Rev. James B.
