At her home, 131 East Sixth avenue, Mrs. John Hagerty died at 3 o'clock yesterday morning, after an illness of two years, of a complication of diseases. Her maiden name was Rosanna Sisler. She was a daughter of John and Rosanna Sisler, both deceased, and was born at Bald Eagle Furnace May 3, 1858, moving with her parents to Hollidaysburg and later to Altoona, which had been her home for many years. On February 4, 1875, she was united in marriage to John Hagerty, who died last May. Mrs. Hagerty was a member of the Third Presbyterian church, a faithful Christian, who used her religion every day and bore her great suffering with a Christian's patience. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Clarence Nale, Mrs. J. C. Chamberlain and Chester K. Hagerty, all of Altoona; four grandchildren, and the following sisters: Mrs. M. V. Orner, Mrs. Matilda Tate and Mrs. Christ Lingenfelter, all of Altoona, and one brother, G. W. Sisler, of Roanoke, Va. The body can be viewed at the home after noon today. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment following in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, February 13, 1917
