ITEMS FROM HENRIETTA.

  Although not unlooked for the summons announcing the death of George 
W. Hagey, of Martinsburg, Sunday morning, cast a gloom over our 
community and his many friends here have been saddened by the loss.  
Those who knew him best knew him as a friend and none here feels the 
loss more keenly than your correspondent as the acquaintance with him 
was very intimate.  May his rest be peaceful.
