GEORGE HAIGH

Died at 1.55 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, 318 East Eighth 
street, of a complication of diseases.  Deceased was born in Altoona 
and was aged about 48 years.  He had resided here all his life and up 
to the time of his late illness followed the trade of a painter.  He 
was a member of St. Mark's Catholic church.  He is survived by his wife 
and nine children: Harvey, Edward, Margaret, Howard, George, James, 
Mary, Josephine and Raymond, at home.  He is also survived by one 
sister, Mrs. Harvey Smith of Middletown, Pa., one step-sister, Mrs. 
Sadie Bettice of Warren, and a step-brother, Joseph Haigh of 
Harrisburg.  The remains can be viewed after 6 o'clock Friday evening.  
Funeral will take place at St. Mark's church tomorrow morning at 9 
o'clock, followed by interment in Calvary cemetery.
