All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ SHOPMAN COLLAPSES, DIES AT HOSPITAL Robert Sheldon Hainley, 51, of 3410 South Tenth avenue, employed as a machinist helper in the Juniata Diesel shop, died at 9.25 o'clock this morning as he was being admitted to the Altoona hospital. He had collapsed while getting material in connection with his work in the airbrake shop at Juniata and was removed to the hospital at 9 o'clock. He was born in Altoona Aug. 22, 1905, a son of Edward J. and Elsie (Patterson) Hainley, and married the former Ada Gertrude Aikens. Surviving are his wife, three children, Edward J. of the city, Robert A. and Dorothy Sue, at the home; three grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Guyer of Hollidaysburg and Mrs. Karl Williams of Narberth. A sister, Eleanor, preceded him in death. Friends will be received at the Laughlin funeral home after 7 o'clock tomorrow evening.
