HAINLEY Of Hollidaysburg, died at 9 p.m. Tuesday in the VA Hospital after an extended illness. He was born July 7, 1897, at McKee, a son of S.J. and Sarah (Raffensbarger) Hainley. He was married Aug. 16, 1924, to Cleo Sellars at Hot Springs, Ark. Mr. Hainley was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg, a veteran of World War I, a member of Fort Fetter Post 516, American Legion, and served as post commander, service officer and steward, and a member of the Altoona B.P.O. Elks. He was a former employe of Sylvania Electric Products, Inc. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Robert Evans of Fayetteville; one grandson and one sister, Miss Nellie Hainley of Hollidaysburg. Friends will be received at the Creamer & Plank Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, after 7 p.m. Thursday. Altoona Mirror, March 12, 1958
