  Charles Hale, a young man aged about 23 years, who resided on Sixth 
avenue, between Twenty-third and Twenty-fourth streets, died yesterday 
morning, after a brief but painful illness, of typhoid fever.

  The funeral of Charles Hale will take place from his late residence 
on Sixth avenue, between Twenty-third and Twenty-fourth streets, this 
afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Interment at Allegheny Furnace.
