Hall died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carrie Hardy, 4 West Eleventh street, Thursday evening at 10:30 o'clock, of paralysis and dysentery. The deceased was born August 8, 1818, and had been a resident of Tyrone for the past thirty years. He was a member of the First Methodist church. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Carrie Hardy, and two sisters, Mrs. Philo Ward and Mrs. Samuel A. Bell, both of Bellefonte. Funeral services at the home of his daughter were conducted by Rev. W. M. Frysinger, D.D., at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon; interment in Tyrone cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Saturday, September 30, 1899, page 2
