About 2 o'clock Thursday morning Thomas Hall, the gentleman who was, on Wednesday, caught between a car and a coal shed and had his breast bone crushed thereby, died at the Altoona hospital, whither he had been taken immediately after the accident. He leaves a wife, one son, a young man, and two daughters, and on the 2 o'clock train in the afternoon his remains were taken to his late home at Spruce Creek. Mr. Hall was a man who had a number of friends in Altoona, and he is spoken of very highly. He was a member of post 44, Grand Army of the Republic at Huntingdon. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and at his request Rev. J. B. Shaver, pastor of the First church, was sent for and administered to him.
