MRS. MARTHA IRENE HALLER

Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy Dodson of 1008 Hewitt St., 
Hollidaysburg, at 12.15 p.m. yesterday after an extended illness. She 
was born in Newry on Sept. 17, 1890, a daughter of Oliver and Margaret 
(Hanna) Shaw and on Sept. 25, 1918, in the First Lutheran Church, 
Altoona, married Matthew Haller who died Jan. 14, 1956. Surviving are 
the daughter, four grandchildren, three brothers and one sister, Dr. 
Byron of Springdale, Thomas and Verus of Hollidaysburg RD 1, and Mrs. 
Laurue Loudon of Altoona. A daughter, Jayne preceded her in death on 
May 17, 1951. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and a 
charter member of the Cancer Society in Hollidaysburg. Friends will be 
received at the Creamer & Plank Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, after 11 
a.m. tomorrow.

HALLER - Services for Mrs. Martha Irene Haller of 1008 Hewitt St., 
Hollidaysburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Creamer & Plank 
Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, by the Rev. E.N. Bauer. Interment in Alto 
Reste Burial Park. Friends will be received at the Creamer & Plank 
Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Thursday.
