All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Mrs. Caroline Halton, wife of Thomas Halton, died at the home of her husband about 1 o’clock this morning, of a complication of diseases, after an illness of five weeks. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Mcdonough and was born in New York City September 9, 1850. June 4, 1875 she was married to Thomas Halton, who, with one son, Charles P., still survives. Her father and two brothers, Joseph and Francis McDonough, all of this city, also survive. She was a member of the Sacred Heart church and was also a member of the Altar society connected with the church and of St. John’s branch of the Ladies’ Catholic Beneficial association. Funeral services will be held at 10:a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart church; interment in Calvary cemetery.
