He was born on Nov. 16, 1874, a son of Joseph and Mary (Lightner) Hamilton, and retired from the service of the Pennsylvania railroad after 39 years' employment. His wife, Mrs. Jennie (McMahon) Hamilton, died seven years ago. Surviving are a step-brother, Robert High of Windber, and a step- sister, Mrs. Mary Bernard of Albany, N.Y. Mr. Hamilton was a member of the Church of God. Friends are being received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary. HAMILTON - Funeral services for Joseph Henry Hamilton of 117 East Crawford avenue will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Stevens memorial chapel by Rev. Williams.
