RONALD D. "SMOKE" HAMPTON SR. 

  Ronald D. "Smoke" Hampton, Sr., 67, of 505 W. 16th Street, Tyrone, 
died Friday, March 10, 2006 at his residence.
  He was born July 1, 1938 in Tyrone, a son of Marion and Blanche 
(Watson) Hampton. He had been married to Trudi Eisenberg who survives 
in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
  Also surviving are three daughters, Barb Martinez and husband Sass, 
Sharon Stott and husband Kerry and Becky Miller and husband Tom, all of 
Tyrone; two sons, Ronald Jr. and wife Robyn of Tyrone, Scott and wife 
Kristi of York; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a 
sister, Marge Krise of Altoona and a brother Richard of Tipton. He was 
preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
  Mr. Hampton retired in 2002 from the beater room at Westvaco, Tyrone 
following 44 years service. He was a member of the Blazing Arrow Hook 
and Ladder Fire Company.
  He was loved and will be sadly missed.
  At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services.
  Arrangements by Feller Memorial Home.
