HANLEY Of 407 Cherry St., Roaring Spring, died at 8:40 p.m. yesterday, Oct. 2, 1974, at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, after a brief illness. She was born at Ore Hill, a daughter of David M. and Lavina (Croft) McGee, and married Sherman Hanley on May 10, 1918, at Camp Lee, Va. Mr. Hanley died May 17, 1971. Mrs. Hanley is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Croft of Roaring Spring and Mrs. Bess Daily of Irwin. Mrs. Hanley was a member of the Bare Memorial Church of God, the Win One Sunday School Class, Murray - Appleman American Legion Post Auxiliary, Friendship Fire Company Auxiliary and Nason Hospital Auxiliary. She was a retired employe of Roaring Spring Blank Book Co. Friends will be received in the John L. Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring from 2 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Altoona Mirror, October 3, 1974
