ROARING SPRING RIPPLES.

  Jacob Hanley, an old and respected resident of this place, died on
Sunday morning last. His age was 78 years, 10 months and 9 days. He was
raised in this township and always lived here. He was one of Dr.
Shoenberger's faithful employes, at Maria Forges. He died a Christian
and was a member of the church for a number of years. Rev. D. S. Shoop
officiated at the funeral.
