Hanna and a native of Altoona, died at her home in Brooklyn, N.Y., at 7.40 o'clock Thursday evening after two years' illness. She was born in Altoona on Oct. 14, 1887, a daughter of J. T. and Mary Ann (Swartz) Ammerman. Mr. Hanna died on Jan. 29, 1936. Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Jack, Durward, Mrs. Louise Harnish and Loy Hanna, all of New York; four grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters, James E., of Greenwood, Lawrence M., of Harrisburg, Willard D., of Altoona, Charles T., of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Laura Becker, Mrs. Emma Hecker and Mrs. Alice Mathieu, all of the city. Mrs. Hanna had resided in Brooklyn since 1930, but while living in Altoona was a member of the Fourth Lutheran church. Interment will be made in New York.
