She was born May 2, 1928 in Monroe Township, Clarion County, PA, the daughter of George Leslie and Mary Ellen (Dehner) Hannold. She is survived by a sister-in-law Ruth S. Hannold of Bedford, PA; three nephews: William George (Barbara) Hannold, Jr. of Charlottesville, VA; Eric Lee (Terri) Hannold of South Carolina and Brian David (Debbie) Hannold of Delaware. Miss Hannold is also survived by great nephews: Glenn and David of Virginia; great nieces: Cary and Madison of Delaware and aunts and cousins of the Clarion area. She was preceded in death by a brother, William George Hannold of Bedford. She was a member of the Tyrone Christ United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Willing Worker S.S. Class and the United Methodist Missionary Society. She attended the Liberty Street Church of God of Clarion for 50 years from early childhood. She was a member of the Nat'l. Retired Teachers Assn.; a life member of the PA. Assn. of School Retirees; life member of Blair Co. Assn. of School Retirees; Daughter of American Revolution, Col. John Proctor Chapter; Past Matron of Order of Easter Star Tyrone Chapter No. 288 from 1969-70; member of Daughter of the Nile Dorcus No. 129; Ladies Oriental Shrine Jabel No. 11; Central Pa. Kidney Assn.; life member of Alumni Assn. of Clarion Univ. She retired after 35 years teaching Kindergarten in the Tyrone Area Public Schools. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. Mark Liller officiating. Entombment will be at Bedford Co. Memorial Park Mausoleum, Bedford, PA. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday.
