Hardy, 7 East 15th St., died Monday at 3:10 a.m. at Tyrone Hospital alter an extended Illness. He was born July 22, 1888 at Tyrone, a son of Calvin and Clara Butler Hardy. On April 18, 1913 at Hollidaysburg he was married to Grace Isenberg. Surviving are the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Wright, of Monongahela; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren and several nephews. He was the last of his immediate family. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. He was of the United Methodist faith, a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He retired as a brake man with the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1949 after several years of service. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Norman L. Marden. Burial will be in Charlottsvllle Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 8, 1974
