REBECCA C. HOLES HARDY 
 
  Rebecca C. Holes Hardy, 93, of Bellwood, died Thursday morning, 
January 18, 2007 at her home.
  She was born February 21, 1913 in Antis Township, a daughter of the 
late Cloyd R. and Bessie Mae (Reed) Berkstresser. She was twice 
married, first to Ira G. Holes who died in 1975 then to John C. Hardy 
who died in 1992.
  Mrs. Hardy is survived by a son: John L. "Rick" Holes and wife, Karen 
of Sinking Valley; grandchildren: Todd Holes of Bellwood; Kim Nixon of 
Modesto, Ca.; Linda Novak of Telford and Kelli Focht of Altoona and 10 
great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by infant daughter Phyllis and daughter 
Joyce Wally, a grandson Joe Wally, brothers: Raymond, Don, Orlando and 
Paul Berkstresser and sisters: May and Olive Berkstresser, Gladys 
Patton, Gaynell Straw and Beverly Williams.
  Mrs. Hardy was a member of Logan's Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood.
  She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and friends.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, 
January 21 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2007 at 
the funeral home with Rev. Robert C. Coddington officiating.
  Interment at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
  Contributions in Becky's memory may be made to Logan's Valley Baptist 
Church, Bellwood, Pa. 16617.
