DOLLIE HARKER Mrs. Dollie Harker, of Hollidaysburg, a bride of two weeks, committed suicide Saturday by taking an overdose of laudanum. She went to the home of her sister, Mrs. Hawley Baker, in Hollidaysburg, Friday evening. While there she told Mrs. Barker she intended to take some laudanum, which would make her good and sick, to frighten her husband. She went into an alley near her sister's home and drank the contents of an ounce vial of laudanum. Unconsciousness overtook her almost immediately, from which she never rallied. No cause is assigned for her rash act. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., July 20, 1905, page 5
